Hi,
I'm creating a map on Photoshop, when I export it in After Effects as a simple footage file, a weird grid appears on my file. I have not applied any effect to the footage in After Effects. I have attached the pictures of it in both AE and PS. I cannot show the whole layer panel due to confidentiality reasons.

Your cropped screenshot tells us nothing about the PSD; I suspect that it is scaled up in AE, the AE comp size, the color management, or your workflow.

The PSD needs to be big enough so that it is never more than about 125% scale in AE, the color space should be RGB, and you can only judge the resolution accurately at 100% Magnification in the Comp Panel (200% if you have an HR monitor). Color management also needs to match.

Those appear to be simply drop shadow artifacts from layer styles. Check that stuff in PS and remove it and/ or merge the layers.
