Not sure if anyone else has experienced this. I have AE on a desktop and there's no problem but I also have it on a MacBook Pro and there is this issue. When I type anything the letter won't show up UNTIL I type the next letter or hit spacebar. So if I were to type "DOG" the "o" wouldn't show up until I hit "g" and then the "g" won't show up until I hit the spacebar - even if I don't want the space.
Super weird and frustrating. I've emptied and cleaned cache and in display turned off 'hardware accelerate...' as recommended in a tutorial but neither has helped. below are the specs of the laptop. Not newest but this shouldn't be an issue. And other things work okay in AE. Any thoughts welcomed
