When I play the video it skips parts of the video

I just reset workspace in ae, and tried to run the video but it skips sections in the video and runs it interrupted, I tried to open a new project and created a solid layer and it also happened, I also tried to restart the computer and it did not help, I do not think it's because the computer is loaded , I would really appreciate if someone could answer me because I will have to re-download After Effects if I do not fix this problem 😞

Without any specific info about your comp settings, preview settings and so on nobody can tell you much. The pattern looks perfectly normal if you have enabled rendering only every n-th frame. I have a feeling you may want to read the online help on how previews and caching in AE actually work...

Check 2 things:

Purge Ram:

And ensure skip frames is set to 0 in the Preview window

Workspace shouldn't have anything to do with playback unless you have a script that's slowing down your system.

Hi can you help me with this. That when i hold the cursor and sliding towards the lines, for me it does not goes smoothly and it keeps on jumping to 01f to 02f and 03f and so on. it does not goes smoothly for me to see the preview and i have already cleaned the cache and preview setting, the skip rate to 0. Please help me with this issue, its really frustrating.

So basically,  the cursor does not goes between 01f and 02f as it just jumps from 01f to 02f so i cannot see the preview
