Where did all of the Material Presets in Cinema 4D Lite go?

It looks like all of the Material Presets in C4D R21 were removed or are missing? Anyone know where they went? 

I've tried to go to Help > Update, but the updater doesn't run. It says there's another instance running and to close that, but there isn't.

I came here with the same question. C4D R21 has no materials at all when there used to be so many.

I had the same problem. I think the update I ran yesterday broke things. I was getting the same message that another instance was running.

Here's what I today and I now have a Lite folder in the browser and a load of materials.

Start AE and then open c4d lite.

Close AE

In c4d lite, help -> check for updates

Select the app and content updates (I didn't make a note of the exact names)

The update should then complete.

It did not work for me...any other suggestions? I can't find my materials location either. This is R22.

Thanks for your tip Ian, it worked perfectly! Now I have a 'Lite' folder in my 'Presets' folder, and in it is a 'Materials' folder that has lots of great presets in it.
