Will downgrading MacOS to Big Sur cause failure to open

Well, Sonoma has really messed everythinng up with after effects and my plugins. I have plugins I can't upgrade to th enewest version without paying for it again. And the ones I use the most don't work anymore with sonoma and after effects 24 only woks with sonoma now, it sucks. Should I downgrade to big sur or ventura? will it even work?

If you use macOS from the old version, you may be able to downgrade it by setting up the recovery option.
