Adobe Effects gets stuck at loading screen

So, I downloaded the 7-Day Free Trial of After Effects and I installed it without a problem on my computer. However, when I try to run it, it will get stuck at "Scanning Folder Camera Raw" or another stage of loading and it will get me to the crash report window..

I am running Windows 7 on a Dell PC with 4GB of ram and an Intel i3 processor..

P.S. I am not running ANYTHING apart from the antivirus (windows essentials) and the "Intel Graphics" application on the background since multitasking is not something easy to do on the specs I have.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi pierd21378236,

I do not think your system is powerful enough to run After Effects. You need atleast 8 gigs of RAM.

After Effects System Requirements

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Upgrading your system or trying the application on a different machine is the only option.

I tried it on a sony vaio laptop with the same specs (4GB Ram i3 processor) and it runs very smoothly! Thank you for replying
