Hi there, my problems started when I found out that AE C2018 and AE CC2019 crashed on launch. I have those uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. AE CC2019 didn't even show up after uninstalling. AE CC2018 still crashes on launch. After reinstalling it first hanged and later crashed on the Media Encoder. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled Media Ecoder, but AE CC2018 still crashes. No 3rd party stuff installed.
My questions: how can I fix this and why is AE CC2019 not showing up in my list? TIA

Update: as by magic AE CC2019 is suddenly on my machine again. However, when I look at the info panel of AE CC2017, 2018 and 2019, I noticed a difference in permissions settings. On version
AE 2017
system > read&write
admin > read & write
everyone > read only
AE 2018 + 2019
system > read&write
wheel > read only
everyone > read only
I tried to manually change the settings on AE 2018 to the same settings as AE 2017. On launch it gives me the famous ‘error 1’. Any ideas?

Hmm, that's not it. Now I see that Bridge 2019 has the same permissions as AE 2018 and 2019. Brigde 2019 runs without problems, as do other 2019 apps.
