AE disk cashe of older versions (Mac) wasn't deleted automatically

When checking what took up so much disk space on my Mac I found the disk cashe of older AE versions taking up a staggering 123 GB's (screenshot is in Dutch). That was easily deleted manually of course, but I used the delete older versions option in the Creative Cloud application. Is there something I can do to avoid this with the next upgrade?

I guess you need to delete cache manually every time. My Mac environment also does not delete it automatically.

Thanks for the quick response! Good to know that it is AE's regular way of working. I'll just make a note to check the cache folder when updating next time.
