HI,
I have a i7 4790k (4th gen) with HD graphics 4600 on chip
and a gtx1060 graphics card in my PC (windows 10)

Lately AE has been giving me the system compatibility report warning that my HD 4600 (intel on chip) is an unsupported driver, I updated to latest driver via download (gee thanks windows auto update)

My question is two fold:
1) why is this happening? I know AE can use the HD graphics for quickview(?) or whatever its called
2) does this mean its not using my GTX 1060?

Thanks so much...

It shoud be using your Nvidia card over the Intel, which is what you want anyway.

Lots of issues with Windows and the drivers for those integrated graphics chips, same issues over in Premiere. Does the posted link to update the driver not work?

In that case, what I would do is disable that warning in the preferences. I forget which panel it's in but it's called something like "Enable hardware checking at startup." Unless you change the components of your computer or you have serious problems, there's no need for it to do that hardware check at this point.

Try disabling the Intel graphics in the BIOS.
