after effect stuck as a background process and doesn't want to launch

hello everyone!

I installed after effects cc 19 free trial from creative cloud to try out the program but it doesn't want to launch and it's just stuck as a background process.

the cpu usage at launch goes to 10% for ae but then it goes down to 0 and the ram amount gets stuck in 52.5 mbs.

any help? I also had cc 18 which was working fine but then I got same problem.

Reinstalling, running as an admin, win 7 compatibility didn't work.

Please I need urgent help, thanks!

Version After Effects CC 19.0

Yes I did install the latest updates

Os is Windows 10 pro 1803

No error messages at all

Nothing, just tried to open after effects and it didn't work

Yes It was working before (After effects cc 18.0) problem probably occured after installing the x264vfw codec.

My specs are i5 7400 quad core 3.3 ghz, GTX 980 Ti and 16 gbs of ddr4 2400mhz ram.

running steam,discord, spoify, msi afterburner and epic games launcher.

No effects but x264vfw codec probably broke after effects.
