it does not crashes immediately after importing. the file even appears in the project pannel, all the layers, and stuff. the psd file is rgb 8 bits. no psd preview in the project pannel. same with the ai files.
tryed to reduce the file to a more manageable size, even tryed to create a little size with a single brush stroke and it does not work. still crashes.
I'm pretty sure that it is related with the gpu. can't get rid of the "display acellaration disabled". (amd radeon 8670, and a intel HD).
gotta turn the computer off to re start ae.
is there something to do?
Try a couple of things:
1.- Open After Effects and go to Edit > Purge > All Memory and Disk Cache
2.- If the previous step doe not work for you, try to delete the After Effects Preferences following the steps of this link https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/preferences.html
Good luck!
