After Effects 2019 and 2020 crash on start up

Both software keep crashing on start up. Have tried shut down multiple tikles and launching from the cloud app and from start menu. Been going on the last few days I have work to do. Any ideas??

I said in the title it was After effects 2019 and 2020. It's windows 10.

Try resetting the preferences.

Fonts and plug-ins are common causes of crashes when launching After Effects.  You could check each of those.

Trying a new user account might help in troubleshooting.

You can also re-install After Effects.

Worst case: Create a clean install boot drive that has just Windows and After Effects and nothing else.

Thanks for reaching out. I see that you are not able to launch After Effects.

Did you try the suggestions given by Warren? Did they help?

Also, does it show any crash report when it crashes? If yes, please share a download link for it.

It's fixed I want to thank everyone for chiming in and helping turned out that I needed a Windows update and once I did that after a full reboot it seem to work.
