After Effects 2020 Not Starting - Hung Up on Start Screen

Hey,

My AE won't start. It gets stuck on "Cleaning Up Anywhere" and I get the loading circle. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling AE, and now it gets stuck on "Cleaning Up AEDynamicLinkServer". The hang up gets so bad that not even the Task Manager will work to shut the software down. Whenever I try using the TM I get "program not responding" error messages from AE. 

Last Thursday I took my work laptop in to update the graphics driver card, as well as some critical Windows updates. My computer is fully updated and everything, but now AE is acting buggy.

Anyone else experiencing this? Help is appreciated!

Update: Premiere Pro is behaving the same way. Hung up on starting screen and will not open.
