when I started after effects for the first time I had to follow a tutorial. And in that tutorial I had to put a glitchy effect. And if I now import a video it immediately gets that glitchy effect, and I dont know how to delete it.
Update your graphics driver, check your hardware acceleration settings. AE uses GPU-based decoding on some formats and if things are not right there, you get the immediate glitches due to the GPU buffers being a mess.
Are you saying that when you create a new project and import your footage into a brand new project it has a glitch on it? Or are you saying that when you bring footage into a particular composition on one particular project you get glitches?
