After Effects not importing AI files properly

Hi,

 

I am trying to import some AI files into After Effects, but there is some kind of glitch that imports them in like this:

Is there a way to fix this?

Carefully check the import panel. Find Image Sequence and deselect the option.

Rick is correct. You can see that the icons are image sequence icons.At least now you know you can make a sequence in Illustrator that would open in AE as an animation if you ever wanted to do something totally crazy. 🤣
