Your question is like:
My car won't start - can anybody help?
Without any specs, any info we can' tell you anything.
Tell us your computer specs, if any error info occurs? If WE just freeze or it shutting down? You just open AE or you open and create project, or you open a specific project? Give us something that we can work with.

Hi OkayNicole5CFC

Welcome to the Community.

I agree with what imeilfx said. We'd need the following information so that we can troubleshoot the issue properly.

  1. Your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version).
  2. The exact version of After Effects you're using.
  3. Do you see any error message? If so, feel free to share a screenshot.

We're here to help, just need more info.

Thanks,

Nishu
