Tested fresh installs two laptops. One laptop.

brand new.

Latest everything as of today's date.

Works ok on 3 other machines older version of Mac OS.

Adobe phone support gave up.

What am I missing?

Followed all the things I could follow online plus all adobe support steps so I'm looking for fresh ideas.

Is there a dependant program missing like a runtime ...?

Thanks

Would you try to install one older version of AE and then run both?

Hi robmulally,

Sorry to hear about your issue.

Could you tell us what happens when you try to launch After Effects - does it crash on the splash screen or it crashes once at the home screen? If possible, please share a screen recording of the issue and your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM).

We're here to help.

Thanks,

Nishu

Just a bouncing icon then nothing, no error messages, on two different
laptops.
