Will it be okay? Sure. Will it be fun? Most likely not. Those thin MacBooks are notorious for any number of problems and with AE 2021 the hardware acceleration doesn't even seem to work at all, so this could turn inrto a nightmare. Feel free to try, but don't expect any miracles.
I would say 8GB of RAM would be a bare minimum for After Effects and it will run very slowly (of course depending on what you're going to do inside After Effects).
If you can, get 16GB of RAM. 😉
