alt+[ and alt+] not working in AE

So the shortcuts alt+[ and alt+] are not always working when I try to use them.  I get the windows "not working" sound.

you say it's not always working so if it works sometimes, this can happen sometimes if you have a multilingual keyboard setup. if so be sure your keyboard is set on English
