Not sure why this is such a significan performance issue. Is there any way to fix this other than hiding the waveforms?

Thanks

Hi FuzzyOnion01,

Thanks for reaching out.

Could you share more details on the issue? If possible, please share a screen recording so that we can understand it better. Also, what are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version) and the exact version of After Effects?

We're here to help, just need more info.

Thanks,

Nishu

While I have you attention, what's up with the Dynamic Link? It used to be smooth and now if I have an AE comp in AP and both open at the same time they freeze for about 10 secs when switching between them. Really destroys using them together.

Hi,
I have the same issue

My PC config AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, 32GB RAM, Radeon RX 5700 (I tried to use Nvidia RTX 2060 Super, and nothing changed). Windows 10 19041.508 build.

I don't have this issue on Macbook Pro 15'' 2018, which configuration is less powerful.
