Can not slide comps in time line.

Hello,

I have run into a snag on my current project. I am running the most up to date After Effects, and have spent days working on several scenes for my project. I'm at the point where I am assembling all of the clips, and have imported all of them into my main project. I have dropped them into my main comp, but now when I try to slide them to their desired location on the time line, they are locked in place. I can close the viewable area of each comp, but I can not move them forward. They're all stacked on top of each other, and thus I can not do my transistions. It's probably something silly, but I can't sort it out. Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Na, no layer locks. I'm kind of baffled here.
