Cineware plug-in not working in After Effects

Hi

I hope somebody can help.

I keep getting the above error when I try and add the C4D file to my composition.

Cineware works fine and the file appears to be intact but it fails when I drag the file to create a comp.

I'v looked at similar problems in the forum but to no avail, I've tried installing re-installing removing preferences etc and still getting the problem.

I'm on After Effects 17.1.1 and Mac OS 14.6 Mojave

Does it work if you turn off the firewall setting or anti-virus app?
