Hello all,

I've been googling an answer for this issue, and I couldn't find it, so here goes.

Whenever I create text in my composition, it automatically puts the text at the start of my composition and not where my current time indicator is. Since every new element in my composition is only 5 seconds long (to prevent that I always have to zoom out to adjust the duration of the object), I don't see the text when I'm working on part 1:20 of the clip.

So my question is: Is there a way I can make it so that instead of text appearing at the start of my composition, that it appears where my 'currernt time indicator' is located by default?

This also goes for the pen-tool. I cannot draw a simple line because of this.

Cheers,

it was actually very obvious. I'm sorry, I should've checked further and deeper.
