display acceleration disabled on Mac OS X Catalina

Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB is my Graphics card.

I'm using a macbook pro that is on MAC OS X Catalina.

i recently updated to ae 2020 and started experiencing this problem.

For starters, the symbol in the top right corner saying "Display Acceleration Disabled"

also, instead of having my video play in the main display (the girl with her hand covering her eye) it shows a freeze frame on the main display and a random new display shows in the bottom left corner. I can not move it or do anything to it to make it more visible, and i have no idea why it's showing up in the first place. I don't really know much about this type of stuff.

Thanks for reaching out. Dual preview on the preview screen was observed as a known issue with 17.0 version of AE.

The recommended update did not work for me.

OS: Catalina 10.15.6

RAM: 8GB 1600 MHz

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

Adobe After Effects: 17.0.0

This works on a similar Mac but running High Sierra.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
