Dissolve blending mode does not work when layer is in 3D

As the subject says, dissolve blending mode does not work when layer is in 3D. When i switch back to 2D the effect is applied. I've searched for sollutions and tried both to change 3D renderer from cinema 4d to classic, also tried different preview options and nothing seem to work. However all the other blending modes seem to work fine, its just dissolve thats not working. Im also pretty sure I've used dissolve on 3D layers before. Any suggestions?

Yea that looks like a bug, I'd add it here:

That is normal behavior. I don't remember it ever working on 3D layers.

Guess I never tried it before, hardly ever use Dissolve. But that is odd that all the others work except that one.

Hmm bug or not, I found a solution to this! If I pre-compose the layers, and put on the dissolve mode in the pre-comp, then change the pre-comp back to 3D, the dissolve effect works fine! Maybe thats how I've done it before as well but cant remember now.
