I am currently my school's Adobe for Teams plan and I've installed After Effects a week ago. I was hoping there would be a way I could get any version AE 2019.
Open up the creative cloud app, find After Effects, look for three dots ... and click them. Under that menu item, you will find a link to Other Versions. You will find all available versions and even builds there.
