Hi dear community,
I've just created a 3D as desribed in the official Adobe tutorial
(https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/how-to/add-3d-text-video-footage.html)
- camera tracking
- edit 'Geometry' and 'Material' Options in CINEMA 4D
- ...
Can I still add (prefererably after all above steps) regular EFFECTS?
- e.g. 'distort'
- or TEXT Fx
When I PRE-COMPOSE, it obviously merges all LAYERS and I can't apply Fx to TEXT only.
Many, many thanks in advance,
Sandro
There are restrictions when the Cinema 4D Render Engine is active in a composition. Precomposing will allow you apply effects, which is one of the restrictions mentioned above.
When you write "Text FX", I am assuming you are alluding to Tex Animator Properties. If this is the case, you can apply Text Animators to extruded Text Layers.
