Expression textbox

Whenever I attempt to input expressions, I cannot actually see what I am typing. The box opens but doesn't moove and nothing appears. When i click out of the textbox whatever I typed is visible. If i click back in to edit further, all text is again invisible. Possibly related is when i click in the textbox it fills up my entire timeline area and the blinking cursor looks like i am typing in size 400 font, but again everything looks normal when i click out.

Plugins I use: FXconsole, MotionTools

AE ver. 17.1 Tried to update ae, nothing changed.

Without any system info and other details like font settings, screen resolutions and so on nobody can tell you much. This typically happens if AE can't find/ access the right font for whatever reason.

Yea, sounds like a missing font. Try re-installing AE.
