Fed up witht he useless integration between AFX and Media Encoder

I am getting really fed up with the completely hopeless integration between After Effects and Media Encoder.  I recently had to upgrade everything to get AFX files to add to the media encoder list.  Now having done nothing in the interim suddenly I'm getting a "Cannot read from source.  Please check the settings and try again".

Seriously Adobe.  You're an established company and this is not new software.  It really can't be that hard to make your products work as they should do.
