Formato .ae

Me gustaría saber si es posible guardar un archivo en After Effects .ae, ya que a mí solamente me da la opción de .aep. Me lo piden en los estudios que sea .ae.

I'm not clear what you are asking. There is no .ae file format used by AE, so whatever is going on at the "studio" requires some explanation as to what those files are actually supposed to be.

Thank you for your time responding to this question.

The file format in .ae was requested by my university teacher for animation subject for AE.

Have searched through the web before asking, because couldn't find what that .ae file the teacher was meaning.

(Also asked the teacher and companions using the university forums but no response)

Thought it might be something related to an older version of AE, that's why was asking.

The task description says to deliver only the .ae file as a result of the AE project.

Can only get the .aep file so dunno what he's meaning.

Any thoughts about it?

Perhaps a glitch in the profs auto-correct when he's typing his assignments?

Hope it's just some mistake by his side and nothing to do with the program at all.

Already delivered the .AEP while waiting for him to respond.

Will let you know about what he responds, just in case.
