Hide After Effects

It's the weirdest thing, all of a sudden whenever I click on another app After Effects automatically hides. So if I want to drag and drop a file from the finder window, if I click on the finder window AE hides. I then have to Cmd+Tab to see AE again, and then I can drag the file. This is so weird I have no idea why it's doing this. Any suggestions folks? Thanks.

I'm on an iMac Pro running the latest everything.
