Hello,
I often need to export low quality from after effect to test some animation speed and share with client.
For exemple, when I work with a 5K composition, I just need to make a quick export in "quarter" quality.
That easy to do with the embded exporter of AE, except that the lack of codecs render a simple 4sec of animation with a 250+ MB file size.
The best will be to export in H264. That is possible with AME, but this one doesn't support "quality" render options from AE (and it takes to much time to export in full quality).
So what do you do ? do you export from AE with big file size and then convert with AME in H264 ?
Are there any more quick way to do this ?
Thank you, for you help.
Thibault

Set up a watch folder in AME, render intermediate files directly from AE and let them process in the background. Fastest possible workflow.
