Recently I've seen a video with a special effect which I really liked, but I honestly don't know how to do it?
I've cut out some pieces which I liked to ask for advise, someone wrote me it was done with After Effects, is it so? And if it is, how do I achieve the same?
So basically you have there like
1) Slow down
2) Special effect when it is fully slowed
3) Text
I'm interested in all steps, but mostly the second the video effect, what is it?
There's literally nothing special in there. It's all just basic AE stuff - Time Remapping/ Time Warp, a bunch of particle effects, soem text layers coming in. you can find millions of tutorials on each of the individual techniques, it's just a mtter of combining them in a nice and interesting way.
I see slow downs and freeze frames, text overlays, glitter overlay and chromatic apperation effects. Nothing crazy.
AE might be the prefered tool to do this, but if you are more familiar with (serious) editing software, this can also all be done there.
You already made a good analysis of what is shown. The next step is to find some tutorials, knowledge bases or trial/error ways to reproduce those image elements and finally combine them.
