In words: I try to create a word/letter animation in Adobe After Effects. It looks like a 3D cube animation on every letter - with a little delay letter after letter.
Study the online help on text animators. Chances are, you won't even need to enable per-character 3D, as the example you provided looks like a compbination of rotation/ shear and scale only. Apparently you are also going to need two layers with reversed settings for this to create the illusion.
