I have a problem visualizing a Cinema 4D file on After Effects.

Hello there, I'm having this problem where the render looks fine on Cinema 4D but on After Effects there is kind of a glitch on the sides.Screen Shot 2020-07-28 at 2.39.24 AM.png

There is no glitch. That's just C4D's default UVW texture projection. The better question is why it's not being displayed this way in your C4D editor. Either way, you need to adjust your texture/ materials tags and limit the material to the sides of your extrude, which could be done most easily by simply not generating caps.
