Hi all,

I'm looking for a little advice as to whether I should purchase a MacBookPro for producing general design work including Ps/Ai/Id/ with the emphasis on using AE, Pr, Sketchup and FCP.

I'm looking at the 16" i9 2.3Ghz with the AMD P5500M or the i7 26Ghz with the P5300M. I just need to know it these machines are more than capably enough to cope with my design requirments.

I'm looking at a laptop over the 27" iMac as I need the portability.

Previous machine: 2013 MacPro, Quad Core, D300.

Any advice would be greatful.
