Page Turn Effect was working, but now it's not. Is it me or a bug?

I have 20 pages of visuals that I have applied the Page Turn effect.  I am using the same "back page" graphic and it was working fine...until it wasn't.  When I apply a different image, it works, but not on the original.  I am using v. 17.1.0 on a Mac and I just downloaded and started using After Effects yesterday.
