preview

I have ae 2020.

A few minutes ago my preview was fluid and perfect, then i (i think) pressed a key combination and suddenly the preview is slow and behind. How can I undo this?

Try this:

Option 1) Turn down the resolution of the Composition and Preview panels to Half.

Option 2) Go to menu Edit / Purge / All Memory & Disk Cache. Press OK button to delete.

Option 3) Reset the Ae preferences: Press Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) while launching After Effects. You can release the Alt or Option key when the splash screen appears.
