Hi,

I am having an isssue importing my Photoshop artboard into After Effects.

I have seen all the youtube videos and looked online, asked people but with no avail! Basically I have designed on a artboard in photoshop, export artboard to files but everytime I then import it into AE it just comes up as a flat image despite showing the layers. I have tried everything I have seen in the tutorials but no idea why this happens. Even bringing the composition its made using the artboard over to the box next to the timeline (I am new to after effects) it only comes up as flat aswell. Any help would be great!

Thanks

When I import PSDs with artboards the artboards come in another comp that you need to click into. If it's coming in as a layer you need to check that your import settings are set to "Composition - Retain Layer Sizes"
