Projec window footage quick access to composition

When I select any footage in the project window, there is a small triangle on the right side of the footage name with a so-called quick-access-link to composition, where the footage is used. Everybody has it - it is not any kind of specific properties. I just not sure about how to name it, but I hope it's clear what I mean.

There is a small, but annoying problem with my After FX. This quick-link works only once per opening the project. Only the first time I click it will work. After that, every time I try to use it, it will show the link but greyed out and not active. 

Any ideas?
I cleared preferences several times, reinstalled app also. I don't remember when exactly it's started, but the bug is active for me since 2019 for sure.

I don't use this option at all, but I know that it will only be available if the footage is actual used in a comp.

Check this first.
