save animation preset window doesn't open

hi! I recently ran into a problem: when I go to "animation-save animation preset" or "animation-apply animation preset" nothing opens. Nothing happens. what is the problem? what should I do?  😞  please i need help

If no Effect is selected in either the Effects Control Panel or Timeline, the Animation>Save Animation Preset menu option is greyed out. For Text and Shape Layers, you will have to first select one of the main properties within these layers', in the timeline. HTH

I select effect keys and this problem still remains. I have attached a video that shows how it happens

Try reset Ae preferences:

To restore the default preference settings, press and hold the following keys while the application is starting.

• Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows)
• Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS)
