Slow-speed audio after 1 second - Adobe After Effects (MAC)

In three or four audio formats or even video formats (MP4), using the test version of AE, after 1 second playing speed slows and cannot be adjusted manually. Is it normal? Is it because of I am using a test version or may I adjust it manually?

For a ram preview to playback smoothly you have to wait for it to fully render and be added to the cache. AE is not a video editing app and it does not handle video streams like an editing app. You need to read up on how AE works and at least open up the Learn workspace and go through the introductory lessons before you start poking around on your own. Spending 20 minutes to go through the example project will save you hours.

Just make sure that you don't start a new project and save it in the Learn AE section folders. You'll have a hard time finding it again.
