Hello, I'm making a scene where is 3D camera tracker, some Track Solids. Everything is working fine, Solids sticks perfect. The problem appears when i add a Text and allows 3D on it. Text doesnt stick like the other Track Solids. It moves hysterically.

Without any idea about what the actual camera path looks like nobody can tell you much. show us screenshots from the alternate front/ top/ side views with the path visible and the camera selected. Chances are the track resulted in a super tiny scene scale and extremely short focal length and the keyframe values simply jump all over the place.

There is nothing in that shot that tells me that camera tracking will work.

If you can set an origin and ground plane and then add a solid and a camera, and the solid sticks to the geometry in the scene all you have to do to attach any 3D layer, including a 3D text layer is to follow these three steps.

  1. Create your new 3D layer
  2. Hold down the Shift key and Parent the new 3D layer to the Track solid that successfully sticks to geometry in the scene.
  3. Adjust the orientation of the new 3D layer using X, Y, and Z rotation, not orientation.

If you modify the anchor point or position property you can offset the new 3D layer's relationship to the Track solid and that could cause it to appear to float over the scene in an unnatural way.

Any time you are working with 3D layers and position you should have at least 2 views so you can see what is going on in AE;s 3D world.
