The subject of a png image is transclucent in after effects

Hi all, I'm a begginer in After Effects. I am doing a project based solely on still images with voice over. I have circular objects I am having come in on a background image. The circular images are translucent and the color (which happens to be important for this project) is impeded by the images behind the circular object.

What should I do to fix my issue?

Can you explain the problem you're having? When you say "circular images are translucent" do you mean these images are transparent? i.e. not visible?

Can you attach a screenshot of the problem? This would help us a lot.

you must clarify your question better and post some screenshot, but I think you have some transparent elements and the color of these elements coming from the background, that possible you must duplicate the circular elements and set the background as an alpha matte for one of the circular elements. maybe it's complicated for you, we can explain better once you post some screenshot to be sure what you want exactly
