That link is for CS5 tutorials, which would be from ten years ago. I would strongly recommend using newer tutorials since After Effects has changed so much in the last decade. Right on AE's main page you can find a brand new tutorial page that has a ton of different options with more modern design, assets, of course, up-to-date versions of the software: https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/tutorials.html.
Not only that, but these tutorials are also much higher resolution, so it should be easier to follow along since the UI will be more readable.
