Ui tearing when not in Standard workspace

Our work laptop (AMD Ryzen  5 3550H AMD Radeon RX 560X 16 gb RAM) has this weird issue where the interface gets all wonky upon loading a project, opening the composition window and switching to standard workspace. I've tried turning off the acceleration and reinstalling the software, but nothing seems to help. Any tips? Thanks.

Sorry for your issue with After Effects.
