Unable to apply Motion Blur

Hi everyone, I've been following this tutorial and unfortunately I get stuck at 7:5. For me there's a line through the box to apply motion blur, however on every other comp I can apply it. I checked under 3D render to see the setting was set to Cinema 4D but it's on classic. I'm not to sure what else it could be, or what the right key words would be to try search for a solution.

When you precompose your layers and use the collapse transformation button, the only way to get motion blur is to activate motion blur for these layers inside your precomp.
