Video doesn't render in order

I'm very new to After Effects, so this may be a very basic problem, but I'm having a lot of issues with rendering my video. The video includes several fast cuts to different clips, but when I render the video the clips are all out of order and repeat themselves where they shouldn't be. The final rendered product looks nothing like the preview. What do I do?
