Dear community!
Today, I wanted to start a new AE project when i discovered, that no matter what elements i create the preview screen stays black.

Somehow this seems to depend on the screen size. When the window is very small, all the content appears, when its larger or full-screen, everything is black.

What's the matter here?

Well, the obvious answer would have to be that your hardware acceleration isn't working correctly. Check the relevant settings, update your graphics driver.

Thanks a lot! That was the problem. My Surface Book 2 didn't recognize my GPU due to a Windows update.
