I am not saying we are in a harry or anything, but 42 days to go. I hope this will be solved in AIR33 beta.

I think based on previous releases, AIR33 Beta possible release date is February 5 (or maybe January 29 if I did the math wrong ).

(forgive the FUD but...) also based on experience, when there's silence from Adobe, that's not a great sign.

We don't hear from them because they don't have time for babysitting the grumpies while they are working hard.

After the iOS update there is a new deadline for Android Android Developers Blog: Get your apps ready for the 64-bit requirement . We might finally have better perfs on Android...

@phillipkerman You must be new around here. Adobe has always been silent on everything for the last 5 years at least. The fix for iOS 12.1 will come, don't worry. And please don't spread misinformation while we are waiting for it.

New beta is out. The iOS 12.1 fix is not there yet, but at least they are well aware of it.

Except they said they promised a roadmap like a year or two ago... on this forum.

Hey, rewb0rn... I'm happy to remove any misinformation.
Fact: I had a recent Adobe employee tell me AIR was sunsetted.
Speculation: you saying "fix for iOS 12.1 will come, don't worry."

Hi Amrita Gangwani, any update on this? When is the next beta released? Is the SDK updated to ios 12.1?

We have 20 days left, and we would like to know if we are going to have a new SDK soon.

Rolf_Rahbek, it's among the "Known issues" in the beta release notes. So not yet fixed, unfortunately.

Lars Laborious, I'm using the AIR SDK & Compiler (version 32.0.0.89). Not a beta version. I can't find anything in the release notes.

Release Notes Flash Player 32 AIR 32

Apple just approved the update to my App even though I got the warning. I guess Air apps will still be available in App Store after March 2019,. However you won't be able to update apps after March unless Adobe fixes the problem?

Adobe have mentioned the SDK Version Issue Warning in Known Issues of Beta release notes.

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashruntimes/shared/air32_flashplayer32_releasenotes.pdf

This is just a warning as of now. Starting March 2019, all iOS app submitted to the App Store must be built with the iOS 12.1 SDK or later.

I built all ANEs with iOS SDK 12.1 and AIR 32. Created release build by passing -platformsdk with iOS SDK 12.1 path.

Getting following error while uploading on App Store Connect:

Invalid architectures - This app has invalid architecture, and may have been built with invalid build settings or incompatible tools. Try rebuilding the app with the latest Xcode version. If you are using third party development tools, contact the provider.

Has anyone found any workaround for this issue?

You probably get the error because AIR is not yet built with iOS12.1. However, they are aware of the issue, so hopefully we will get an updated AIR beta soon.

Hai

We are installing the air sdk using Apache Flex SDK Installer. The latest beta version is not available in flex sdk installed and I am using  intellij idea for development. I have tried to overlay the air sdk 32 beta over flex sdk manually then tried that in intellij but some errors are produced. So now i am unable to upload my app to store. So Can i get the beta version in flex sdk installer? Or can we get air 33 update soon?

LATEST

you need to download the beta SDK on Adobe lab
and follow this
Overlay Adobe AIR SDK on Adobe Flex SDK | Adobe Flash Builder

also there are actually 2 AIR SDK

Download Adobe AIR SDK

the first one (blue buttons)  - AIRSDK_Compiler.ext
"Adobe AIR SDK & Compiler" which use ASC v2 CAN NOT be merged with Flex SDK

the second one (grey area underneath) - AdobeAIRSDK.ext
"original AIR SDK" which use ASC v1 CAN be merged with the Flex SDK
